A History lesson at Blanchardstown Renault
- July 2005
A surprise guest has just arrived into Blanchardstown
Renault. The original 16-Renault Type N G Series will be staying
for the next three months. With a break speed of 10 HP and a
top speed of 55 km/h, it is fair to say the Renault range has
come along way in terms of style and performance.
This car, was first the property of Wolfgang
Prinz and was originally registered in Austria.

After spending some time displayed in an Austrian
museum, the car was acquired by its current owner by auction
in October 2003.
Since this car’s restoration, it has, today
been repainted in the French colours, (clear blue), in honour
of the Centenary celebrations of the Gordon Bennet Group.
The car is on view in the main showroom and
will be for the next three months.
