The driver still plays the leading role in road safety. Renault is stepping up its commitment to education and building awareness among the public at large.

Human error is to blame for about 80% of road accidents. Renault is convinced that progress can be made as a result of education and individual preventive measures. That is why the company started a massive campaign in 2000 to educate children about road safety from an early age. The Safety for All programme, aimed at children, teenagers and young adults, is helping to keep the automobile the means of mobility and freedom it has been for over 100 years.
